Imperialist diplomacy exposed: Behind the witch-hunt of WikiLeaks

Printer-friendly versionSend by emailPDF version
Meeting Poster

The publication of US diplomatic cables by WikiLeaks provides an invaluable insight into the real state of international relations, the undercover diplomatic activities of the United States and other governments, and the mounting global tensions that threaten to spark new military conflicts.

The significance of the WikiLeaks exposures can be measured by the fact that the organization’s founder, Julian Assange, has been subject to a series of death threats from members of the US ruling elites as well as calls for his trial and execution. Assange is currently facing threatened extradition to Sweden on trumped-up sex charges, while the Obama administration has labeled the WikiLeaks founder as a high-tech terrorist.

The Socialist Equality Party and the International Students for Social Equality are holding this meeting to discuss the significance of the diplomatic revelations and the political implications of the attack on WikiLeaks.
