Socialism and the 2012 Election
The Socialist Equality Party in the United States will run candidates in the 2012 elections—Jerry White for president and Phyllis Scherrer for vice president. White, 52, is a writer for the World Socialist Web Site and was the SEP’s presidential candidate in 2008. Scherrer, 48, is a school teacher in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.

Jerry White is running as the Socialist Equality Party’s candidate in the 2012 elections, against the Democrats and Republicans. He will speak on the socialist program for equality, and against war and attacks on democratic rights.
